OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond & Spectre: Six New Watches for 2026

OMEGA has opened a new chapter in its more than 30-year relationship with James Bond. On 5 October 2026, the Swiss watchmaker unveiled the Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond and Spectre Collection: six 42 mm watches that place 007 and his most famous adversarial organisation side by side for the first time in an OMEGA collection.

The launch matters beyond another film-themed special edition. OMEGA is turning the Bond partnership into a study in duality — duty versus independence, discipline versus freedom — while using one of its most recognisable modern dive-watch platforms as the common mechanical foundation.

Six Seamaster Diver 300M watches, two sides of the same story

All six watches are based on the 42 mm Seamaster Diver 300M and use the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806. The collection is divided equally between James Bond and Spectre, with three executions for each side.

Two stainless-steel models are sold individually and are not limited editions. The James Bond edition, reference 210.30.42.20.03.004, combines a Grade 5 titanium bezel ring with a blue aluminium dial laser-engraved with the Seamaster wave pattern. The Spectre edition, reference 210.30.42.20.01.023, takes a darker route with a black ceramic bezel ring and a blackened, grained dial. Both are fitted to brushed mesh bracelets.

The first OMEGA collection to bring Spectre into the spotlight

The historical point is significant. OMEGA has been associated with James Bond on screen since GoldenEye in 1995, but the new 2026 collection is the first time the brand has built a parallel Spectre identity into a dedicated Bond collection. Instead of treating the villainous organisation as a background reference, OMEGA gives it equal visual and conceptual weight.

The distinction continues on the movement side. Bond models use a gun-barrel decoration on the rotor, while Spectre models carry the organisation’s octopus emblem. It is a detail visible through the caseback and one that turns the calibre itself into part of the narrative.

Only 77 numbered sets for each side

The most collectible part of the release comes in the form of two limited-edition sets — one James Bond and one Spectre — each restricted to 77 numbered sets. Every set pairs a stainless-steel watch with a platinum-gold model; OMEGA states that the watches in these sets are not sold separately.

James Bond limited set

The platinum-gold Bond model, reference 210.83.42.20.03.001, uses a polished ceramic bezel ring and an 18K white-gold dial with a blue PVD gradient and gun-barrel pattern. Its rotor emblem is executed in 18K Moonshine™ Gold.

Spectre limited set

The platinum-gold Spectre model, reference 210.83.42.20.01.001, follows the same precious-metal concept but switches to a dark-grey dial featuring the octopus motif. Its rotor emblem is also rendered in 18K Moonshine™ Gold.

The stainless-steel watch in each numbered set carries its individual edition number on a plate at 9 o’clock. OMEGA also equips all four limited-set watches with its wave-edged caseback and Naiad Lock system.

Presentation boxes designed as collector objects

OMEGA has treated the packaging as part of the release rather than an afterthought. Each limited set includes an additional NATO strap and strap-changing tool, cufflinks, a cord bracelet, a loupe, a leather travel pouch, a card holder and a certificate of authenticity. Bond and Spectre receive different detailing, including 007 or Spectre references on the accessories and different pouch colours.

Why this release matters to watch collectors

There are three reasons this launch deserves attention. First, it expands one of modern watchmaking’s best-known cinema partnerships without simply repeating a previous 007 formula. Second, the Spectre side introduces a new collecting theme inside the OMEGA–Bond universe. Third, the 77-set limitation gives the precious-metal executions genuine scarcity while the two standalone steel watches keep the concept accessible beyond a tiny allocation.

There is also a broader lesson here for independent watch brands and collectors. Storytelling works best when it is expressed through the object itself. OMEGA has not merely printed a film logo on a dial: colour, surface finishing, rotor decoration, precious metals, packaging and edition structure all reinforce the same idea of two opposing identities sharing one mechanical base.

EP Watches Club view

The most interesting aspect is not simply that another Bond Seamaster exists. It is that OMEGA has found a way to use a familiar watch architecture to tell two deliberately opposing stories. The Spectre models may prove particularly important to collectors because they establish a new branch within a partnership that has already lasted more than three decades.

Whether the long-term collector preference falls on Bond’s blue, more recognisable identity or Spectre’s darker treatment will be worth watching. What is already clear is that OMEGA has made the rivalry itself the product concept — and that makes this release more consequential than a routine commemorative edition.
